Superior Search Home 5.1.0.939 is a desktop search engine.
The program can be installed in 9 different languages.
Superior Search 5.1.0.939 Home Edition lets you search from your desktop inside your driver or in the web, using the same interface, through the integrated browser function and the implemented Web 2.0 platform.
When you run the program for the first time, it will perform a Preliminary Indexing of your chosen local or network drives. The process can take a long time (even several hours), but it will allow you to search quickly afterward.
The web search in the home edition is limited to the Premium Links that point to German webpages, as Ask Germany (de.ask.com), eBay Germany (www.ebay.de), Opodo (www.angebote.opodo.de) and Sueddeutsche (www.sueddeutsche.de). The only exception is the Premium Link "Software", that points to en.softonic.com. The Premium Links can´t be changed. You can´t type another address in the address bar, neither.
To search for something in your drives, you´ll only need to select the "Files on PC" tab and type a keyword in the "Search for" box. The program will then show you a list of coincidences, sorted by relevance.
The same procedure can be used to search for something in your emails, selecting the "E-mails" tab. |
